Plot[]
Chizuru asks Arata for his phone, but then corrects that she meant to ask if she could have his phone number as she would like to talk with him again. He agrees, and she takes her phone from her bag, the blue strap still hanging from it. Seeing the strap makes Arata vaguely remember having matching phone straps with someone, followed by a flood of other memories of moments he shared with Chizuru during their time in the ReLIFE experiment. While at first he cannot recognize who he was with, the images gradually get clearer until he recalls Chizuru smiling at him for the first time in the school cafeteria and realizes that the girl in the memories is in fact the woman in front of him.
Stunned by the realization, Arata calls Chizuru by her name. She apologizes for not remembering his name, thinking Arata must know hers from her self-introduction at the party. Arata shows his phone to her, which brings to her mind a memory of a boy with a phone strap matching hers. One after another Chizuru is reminded of her experiences from many of the same moments that had just come back to Arata's mind, and she finally fully remembers his smiling face from the first time she asked him for his phone number in the school hallway. Taking a look at her hand, she now also recalls the message to herself she wrote on her palm at the end of her ReLIFE experiment, afraid that she would forget she was in love with Arata.
Having regained her memories of Arata, Chizuru runs to embrace him. As the happiness of seeing each other again brings both of them to tears, he suggests they take the emotional moment somewhere else from the street with crowds of people around them.
