Synopsis
Rena and Kazuomi come to Arata's place to help him study, bringing Chizuru along. The real purpose of the study meeting is revealed as a sudden phone call leaves Arata in Chizuru's care.

On the day of the study meeting with Rena and Kazuomi Arata is able to prepare in advance by hiding his cigarettes and beer cans that would look out of place at a high school student's apartment. However, when Rena and Kazuomi arrive it turns out that Rena has invited Chizuru to come along as well, which Arata was not entirely mentally prepared for.
As they sit down and take a look at Arata's schoolwork, Rena and Chizuru are baffled by the way he is trying to solve the problems. Rena scolds Arata, reminding him that he still has tests to pass in order to enter Aoba university and how unfortunate it would be if he were the only one of them not going there next year. While Arata laughs Rena's remark off, he and Chizuru are privately saddened as they both know for sure they won't be there.
While they are working, Kazuomi's phone rings. After taking the call on Arata's balcony he tells the others that he has to go to work immediately as they are understaffed at his part-time workplace. In a rush Rena also packs up and leaves together with Kazuomi, asking Chizuru to stay and help Arata study, which makes him suspect the truth that this was Rena's true plan for the study meeting.
